1. Normal slow steering, heavy quick steering
a. There is air in oil lines between priority valve and steering gear (LS tube),
b. Turn the steering wheel to its limited position, then continue to rotate the steering wheel and forces the safety valve open, discharge the air.
c. The oil path in priority valve what connects LS tube from steering gear is block,
d. clean this oil path;
e. The safety valve in priority valve is dirty or jammed in its opening position, this will cause insufficient pressure in steering system, clean the safety valve.
2. Easy steering without load and heavy steering with load
Check the pressure and readjust the set pressure of steering safety valve to 14Mpa
If the steering is still heavy, check and clean the steering safety valve, clear the dirt off.
3. Steering is heavy when throttle down; and steering is normal when throttle up
Low efficiency of pump volume, replace steering pump
4. Loader turns automatically, and steering wheel can’t return to neutral position
Change spring plates of steering gear
5. No sense of limited point
Steering cylinder seal damaged and oil leakage inside cylinder; Readjust the bidirectional overload valve, starting pressure of which should not lower than 1.25 times of set pressure of steering safety valve
6. Steering wheel can’t turn any more during operation
The check valve on oil port of steering gear brushed off and block all inlet oil
Repair this valve or replace new oil port of steering gear.
